General Dynamics Awarded Contract from Saudi Aramco for Security Systems

General Dynamics has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract by Saudi Aramco for the provision of integrated security systems at its onshore and offshore facilities in the Gulf.

The contract involves installing security systems at several offshore and onshore sites in the Gulf. General Dynamics will be also responsible, as the ‘Lump Sum Turn Key Contractor’, to provide any support systems and logistics required for the implementation.

David Ibbetson, vice president of General Dynamics Mission Systems–International said: “We are looking forward to building on our existing relationship with Saudi Aramco and delivering integrated security systems to their facilities. Our knowledge and experience across the oil and gas business means that we are in a unique position to offer a complete integrated solution.”

The contract was awarded to General Dynamics Information Systems and Technology Arabia.
