Over the past five years, GDUK has established a UK-based CBRN Protection capability built around its proven programme management, engineering, manufacturing and support capability to offer low risk cost effective solutions to the UK Armed Forces and Homeland Security markets. As a technology independent Prime Systems Integrator, GDUK is able to draw from the global marketplace as well as from the extensive experience of the General Dynamics Corporation to offer the right solutions to our customers, that are at the appropriate technology and system readiness levels (TRL and SRL).

GDUK is pursuing major opportunities within the UK Armed Forces, police and homeland security sectors and offers CBRN Protection Solutions as part of our Export capability.

Building on our market knowledge of the CBRN marketplace and extensive experience of providing innovative packaging and support solutions, GDUK offers a suite of sensors and a support solution incorporating the following features:

  • Light, airmobile and manoeuvrable CBRN Force Protection
    • Limited CBRN reconnaissance and self-decontamination
  • CBRN detection, identification and monitoring capability
    • Operate independently to support early theatre entry, rapid deployment and light forces
  • Self sustaining
  • Appropriate in theatre communications with appropriate reach-back capability

We also offer CBRN solutions suitable for police and other government organisations to detect, identify and analyse releases of chemical, biological and radiological substances.
