Security Clearance

  • The minimum security clearance required is to BS level (Baseline Standard Clearance) although most roles within General Dynamics UK require clearance to SC level (Security Cleared).
  • The Baseline Standard Clearance requires information and documentation to confirm the identity, employment or educational history, nationality and immigration status and criminal record (unspent convictions only) of the applicant.
  • If you currently hold SC Clearance it may be possible to transfer this to General Dynamics UK.
  • Employment with General Dynamics UK will not commence until BS Clearance has been completed.
  • NB: Any information used in completing BS or SC Clearance is subject to the Data Protection Act and will not be used for purposes other than specified and will not be used to pry into personal life.
